Guests & spaces

How many guests can Riverside hold?

Saturday weddings host 50–100 guests with our own tables and chairs, and the Friday Micro Wedding includes table seating for 50. Wedding ceremonies and dinners are usually outdoors (with a tent option), and the barn is the spot for cake cutting, the DJ and dancing. Planning for more than 100? Our two tents cover up to 100 guests, so larger weddings rent a bigger tent (and extra tables and chairs) from an outside company. For parties in the barn, we can seat up to 50 guests with tables and chairs set up, or up to 80 with seating only, per the fire marshal. Parties over 50 guests that need tables and chairs set up outside add a flat $75. One tent seats 45–50, and both tents seat 80–85 with food tables, or about 100 without.

Is the barn heated and air-conditioned?

Yes. The barn has heat and AC.

Are there restrooms?

Yes. We have real men’s and women’s bathrooms (not portable) behind the barn, with a ramp walkway up to them.

Where does the wedding party get ready?

The bride gets ready in the Bridal Cabin, and there’s a small space where the groom can get ready.

Do you host more than one event per day?

Sometimes, for small parties. Weddings get the whole day.

Are kids or pets welcome?

Kids love our playground! No pets, please, except service animals.

The wooden playground and slide beside the field, with an antique wagon in front and free on-site parking in the field, at Riverside Farm Venue
Is the venue accessible?

We have a ramp walkway going up to the restrooms. If anyone in your group has trouble walking, let us know when you tour and we’ll talk through the best spots.

Pricing & booking

How much does a wedding cost?

Our Saturday wedding package is $3,000. A Friday + Saturday wedding (Friday evening 4–10 PM) is $3,500 and includes our free thank-you frame. We also offer a Friday Micro Wedding for $1,250 and weekday elopements and vow renewals for $300 (+ $200 to add the barn for a small reception). Tents are extra: $450 for one or $700 for both. See our Pricing page for what’s included.

What’s included?

The Saturday wedding package includes the outdoor ceremony on our fixed benches, our own tables and chairs for 50–100 guests, the Bridal Cabin and a groom’s space, and the barn for cake cutting, the DJ and dancing. Parties include tables and chairs set up and a free 45-minute setup and 45-minute cleanup; guests clean up after themselves. Wedding hours are 8 AM to 11 PM. Free, lighted on-site parking and real men’s and women’s restrooms are included.

How do we reserve our date? What’s the deposit?

For weddings, half is due to reserve your date, and the other half is due 30 days before your wedding.

For parties, half is due at booking, and the other half 15 days before your party date.

Parties and other non-wedding events can be booked up to 90 days ahead. Saturdays are mainly for weddings, but if a Saturday is still open inside 90 days, you’re welcome to it. Just ask.

What’s your cancellation / reschedule policy?

Wedding deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel at least 60 days before your date and choose a new date, we’ll apply half of your deposit to the new date.

Parties: if you reschedule 30 or more days before your date, your full booking payment is credited to the new date. Less than 30 days out, half of your booking payment is credited.

Can we tour first?

Absolutely. Tours are free. Book a time online or call/text 336-270-9860.

Do you allow photo sessions on non-event days?

Yes. Photo sessions start at $75 for 1–3 hours.

5 questions

Vendors & policies

Can we bring our own caterer, bartender, and vendors?

Yes. Bring any vendors you choose.

Is alcohol allowed?

Yes. Alcohol is allowed, but guests are responsible for obtaining any permits required to serve it.

What’s the rain plan?

Our rain plan is a tent. Tents are an add-on ($450 for one or $700 for both; see our Pricing page), and we recommend reserving one early, especially for spring and fall dates, so you’re covered if the forecast turns. The barn is still yours for cake cutting, the DJ and dancing, but it isn’t big enough to move a full wedding indoors (it seats 50 with tables). Our two tents cover up to 100 guests; for more than 100, you’ll rent a larger tent from an outside company.

What time can we arrive, and when must the event end?

Parties include 45 minutes before and after for setup and cleanup. Wedding hours are 8 AM to 11 PM, and music must end by 10:30 PM.

Can we have a bonfire, sparklers, or candles?

Yes. Bonfires, sparklers and candles are all allowed.
